Steam Affiliate Program

Steam Affiliate Program (2024)

Steam is a digital distribution platform and online gaming community developed by Valve Corporation. It is a hub for gamers to purchase and download a vast library of games, ranging from indie titles to major releases.

Does Steam have an affiliate program? As of 2024, Steam does not have an affiliate program.

Nevertheless, there are alternative digital distribution platforms that offer affiliate programs.

A popular gaming affiliate program is the one offered by Epic Games.

Epic Games is a video game development company known mostly for creating Fortnite. They have gained significant attention and success with their digital distribution platform called the Epic Games Store, which competes with Steam. The company is also recognized for its Unreal Engine, a powerful game development tool widely used in the industry.

The affiliate program offered by Epic Games is called  Support-A-Creator

To be eligible for the program, you need to have 1,000+ followers on at least one of the following platforms: YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, or VK

Commission for games purchases from the Epic Games Store is 5%.

If you are a streamer who does not want to sell games but wants to monetize your channel, then I recommend checking the Twitch Affiliate Program.
